Abia Guber election was peaceful, says Onuigbo

 The just concluded 2019 general elections have been described as a huge success, free, fair   and peaceful, without any record of violence in Abia State.
A lawmaker, Hon. Sam Onuigbo, during a press conference he held in Umuahia to appraise the outcome of the election.
Senator OnuIgbo, was re-elected on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party , expressed gratitude to God and the people of Abia for a peaceful governorship election in the state, and  expressed confidence in the ability of the governor-elect  to continue to deliver dividends of democracy to the people of Abia State, during the second tenure .
Onuigbo congratulated the governor on his re-election and all those who the State House of Assembly election saying that the foundation for effective crushing had been laid.
He congratulated INEC on a work well done saying that the commission had improved tremendously from its performance in the Feb. 23, elections.
He urged the losers in the guber election to sheath their swords of legal tussle as the first term of the governor in office was distracted for three years with legal cases.
He urged all the parties in the election to remain calm and accommodating saying that there was no need for legal tussle.
