Ihedioha appoints former lawmaker as Political Adviser

Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State on Wednesday announced the appointment of the Senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Imo West, (Orlu zone), Hon Jones Onyereri as his Special Adviser on Political issues.

Onyereri just completed two terms at the House of Representatives where he represented Njaba/ Nwangele/ Isu/ and Nkwerre federal constituency.

Spokesman to the Governor, Chibuike Onyeukwu, made the disclosure in a statement made available to newsmen in Owerri.

According to the statement, others appointed were Prof. Chudi Uwazurike – Special Adviser (Diaspora); Hon Jeff Ojinika – Special Adviser (Inter-party); Dr. Sonny Ogulewe – Senior Special Assistant (Admin), SSG’s Office; former Chairman of Aboh Mbaise local government, Chief Richmond Osuji – Senior Special Assistant (Rural Development); Barr. Anselm Okorie – Senior Special Assistant (SDGs); and Uche Udozor – Senior Special Assistant (Agricultural Development).

Others are Abba Chimaraoke – Senior Special Assistant (ICT and e-Governance); Estella Mbadiwe – Senior Special Assistant (Health Services); Emeka Opara – Senior Special Assistant (Legal Matters); Adaora Onyechere – Special Assistant (Information and Advocacy); and Izuchukwu Akwarandu – Special Assistant (New Media)

The Governor charged the appointees to deploy their wealth of experience to their jobs and add value to the rebuilding of the state.
