Bauchi state government says it has fulfilled all it’s campaign promises with one hundred in office.
The state commissioner of Information and Communications Dr. Ladan Salihu made this known when he appeared as guest on AIT Democracy in Focus on the achievement Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed.
Dr. Ladan Salihu said the governor in his first one hundred days in office had touched almost every sector of the state.
He said governor Bala Muhammed administration flagged of road construction of about ninety kilometer spread across the state with fifty percent payment to contractors.
He explained that Bauchi state has over one point three million out of school children, the highest in the country, and over two Million Internally Displaced Persons due to insurgency from neighboring States.
He said the governor further embarked on rehabilitation and reconstruction of educational facilities across the state by renovating dilapidated schools and constructing new schools including and ICT model school.
Other part of achievement according to the commissioner is renovation and upgrading of health facilities across the state, managing security and provision of portable drinking water as well as Agriculture among others.
Dr Ladan boast that Bauchi state has experience infrastructural development due to the political will of the state governor, which according to him was bourne out of his desire for good governance and rule of law.
He said if the Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed administration can achieve such viable project within one hundred days, the commissioner affirms that Bauchi state has set the pace for other states.
The commissioner said with the caliber of the state executive council members, the first four years of governor Bala Muhammed, Bauchi state will be a safe haven for investors and other donor agencies to operate.
