Buhari engages Ortom, Tor Tiv, Mark, others in Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a closed-door meeting with political and traditional leaders of Benue State, led by the State Governor Samuel Ortom, at the Aso Rock Villa.
Also in attendance are the Benue State Deputy Governor, Steve Abounu;A� Tiv paramount ruler, Tor Tiv, James Ortese Orzua Ayatse;A�former Senate President, David Mark; former governor, George Akume and Senator Barnabas Gemade.

Others are Senator JNK Waku; Lawrence Onoja; former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Micheal Aondoakaa;A�the Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly, Terkimbir Kyambe; members of the National and State Assembly from the State as well as members of the State Council of Traditional Rulers.
From the government side for the talks which are featuring the menace of Fulani herdsmen, are President Buhari; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President Abba Kyari; National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno; Director-General of the Department of State Services, Lawan Daura; Minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh (who hails from Benue); Minister of Interior, Ibrahim Danbazzau and the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
