Tinubu cannot deliver unpopular candidate, says PDP

By Samuel Ogidan
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has told former governor of Lagos, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, that he would not be able to deliver a a?bad producta? in 2019.
The party however commended Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and his Ekiti State counterpart, Ayo Fayose, for visiting Benue State and extending assistance to victims of the recent violent attacks and other Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the state.
In a statement issued by its spokesman, Kola Ologbondiyan, the PDP noted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) had abandoned its responsibility of governance and now deployed resources meant for the people to push a desperate but ill-fated mission to perpetuate on Nigerians, an obviously unpopular presidential candidate in 2019.
The party explained that because of APC a?sfailure to fulfil its campaign promises, it had resorted to moving round with the intention to beguile Nigerians ahead of next yearas elections.
Ologbondiyan said: “Buhari Presidency has failed to be remorseful for its misrule,” noting that the disagreements in their party are fallouts of membersa resentment towards its desperation for power.
