‘I want to be remembered for good legacies’ – Sen Orji
*As 750 benefit from free eye surgery

The Senator representing Abia Central senatorial district, Senator Theodore Orji had said he would want to be remembered for “good legacies “, hence his obsession for human empowerment programmes.
The former Governor who stated this in Umuahia during his annual empowerment programme said that one of the reasons God gives power to people is to use it to positivity affect lives.
He said it gives him joy when God uses him to bring succour to people with different challenges.
Senator Orji who said over 750 successful eye surgeries had been conducted at his free eye clinic at Ohafia Street in the last one year when it was inaugurated, said passion for the people was the motivation for his numerous humanitarian services.
Orji who said he floated the eye clinic to help tackle the increasing eye -related challenges among the people considering the delicate nature of the sight organ urged his constituents to take advantage of the scheme.
The former governor who distributed empowerment items worth millions of Naira to some of his constituents, urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items.
Some of the items include tricycles, grinding machines, vulcanising machines, sewing machines, generating sets among others .
Senator Orji who promised to sustain his empowerment programmes including free scholarship scheme said the district would witness more developments in the years ahead.
In separate interviews, some of the beneficiaries, Hilary Anucha from Mbutu Ward 4, Isialangwa North; Chinyere Osondu from Ugba na Nkata Ibeku ; Prince Okechukwu Mgbarume from Osisioma, all showered praises on the senator, saying the items would add value to their lives.
