Adopted CAN Chairman in Adamawa Killed After 2 Weeks in Captivity

The chairman of Christian association of Nigeria, Adamawa state chapter, Bishop Stephen Dami Manza has described the execution of the the adopted Michika branch chairman of the CAN has unfortunate and wicked.

The state chairman who confirmed the killing said the beheading of the chairman, Pastor Lawan Andemi is one killing too many in the state within the last few weeks.

He his said the adaptors called the wife of the pastor that they were going to kill him on Saturday but shifted it to Monday.

The picture of the beheaded pastor was to the President of EYN Daniel Mbiya.

Noting that the killing is a sign that security system has failed, ” only yesterday another pastor was killed in Mayo belwa, it appears that these attacks and killings is targeted at the Christians ”

” The adaptors requested for 2 million Euro and they were offered N50 million but that refused and beheaded him yesterday.

Bishop Manza called government to rejik its security system and be more proactive in protecting lives of the citizens.

Late Pastor Andemi was adopted on the 4th of January, 2020 and has been in their custody, he was said to have sent message to his family not to cry as this is the God has chosen for last week when negotiations was on.

Reacting to the ugly development, the Director General Media and Publication, Mr. Solomon Kumagar said, the government is pained with this development and wondered why the adaptors killed him despite negotiations was still on.
