NUC okays Medicine and Surgery programme for RHEMA Varsity

RHEMA University Nigeria, Aba, Abia State, has received approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree programme.

Vice –Chancellor of the University, Professor Ogbonnaya Onwudike, who disclosed this in a chat with our correspondent, said admission into the course had already commenced from the on-going 2019/2020 academic session.

The former Vice -Chancellor, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, expressed delight that the development would enable thousands of candidates from South East and its environs seeking admission into the prestigious course to actualise their dreams.

Professor Onwudike who noted that RHEMA university was poised to make qualitative education available and affordable to all interested candidates, urged parents and guardians to take advantage of the opportunity to realise the ambitions of their children and wards.

He said any interested candidates who sat for the “JAMB UTME” should apply through the Registry of the university after payment of N5,100.
