Supreme Court Verdict: Ganduje receives Katsina trekker

Kano State Governor Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has warmly received Comrade Nura Ali Batsari who trekked for 176 km journey from his hometown, Batsari in Katsina State to congratulate him over his recent victory at the supreme court which reaffirmed his second term election.

Receiving his fan through his Deputy, Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, Ganduje noted that, “Comrade Nura’s visit is a clear testimony of his love and affection to our administration and by extension his admiration to the numerous achievements recorded in the State.

“Whoever comes to congratulate our Government over this victory, is definitely congratulating the people of Kano State because it was their prayer that has been answered by Almighty Allah which takes us to this level.”

Ganduje expressed his sincere gratitude to God, “and for his mercy in making the truth to prevail. I appreciate the continued prayers and support from people like Comrade Nura who almost sacrificed his life to come to Kano by trekking from Katsina to congratulate us on the victory.

” I must warmly welcome my guest Comrade Nura Ali Batsari who really sacrificed his energy and time to come to Kano and rejoice with us over our victory at the supreme court. His coming by trekking indicates his satisfaction on this administration’s commitment to do the needful in actualising it’s mandate for the good people of Kano.”

Ganduje commended some of the members of the Katsina State House of Assembly who on Nura’s arrival, trooped to Kano Government House to also testify the kind of love he has on the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in particular.

“As we have been told by the Honourable members that Nura is a disciplined, patriotic and young politician with self-reliant background who is currently pursuing his Masters Degree at Umar Musa ‘YarAdua University. We are happy because this is very appreciable and encouraging.”

The trekker, ComradeNura Ali, said he decided to embark on his trekking journey to come to Kano and congratulate Ganduje for his victory at the Supreme Court Verdict and congratulate people of Kano for having one of the dedicated Governors in Nigeria.

“What drew my attention about Governor Ganduje is his commitment to change Kano into a Mega city through the execution of many developmental projects as you can see anywhere you go in the State. This is worthy of emulation by other Governors in Nigeria.”

According to him, Ganduje has succeeded in empowering the life of Youth, Women and Orphans in the State to become self-reliant, describing him as a source of pride to his people.

He died that, “many youths have been appointed into key positions in this administration as Commissioners, Advisers and SSAs, this made me feel honoured for that. Ganduje is a man who carries youth to ensure good governance and success.”

Other areas mentioned by NuraBatsari which attracted his attention on Ganduje’s leadership style was the introduction of the popular programme, KarKaraSalamuAlaikum through which grassroots projects are implemented across the 44 local government areas of the state.
