In the same vein, the party also condoled with the family of late Mr. Ifeanyi Ibebugwu, the YPP Chairman of Aguata Local Government, Anambra State who died in a ghastly motor accident on his way to Lagos.

In a condolences message to Oduwole and Ibebugwu families, the National Publicity Secretary of YPP, Egbeola Wale Martins, in a press release on Wednesday to the AUTHORITY NEWSPAPER consoled with both families and said though the two tragic events in quick succession is too much for us to bear as a family, but even in our grief, we take solace in the fact that they left indelible marks in the sands of time having lived fulfilled lives not defined by how long they lived.

“we recall with thanks the immense and selfless contributions of Mr. Ifeanyi Ibebugwu to the party, which laid the solid foundation for what the party is today in Anambra State”,

“On behalf of the National Executive Committee and all members of Young Progressives Party, may God comfort the families of the bereaved and grant them the needed strength and wisdom to navigate through this difficult period,” the statement said.
