CILG seeks partnership with FRSC on road safety measures

The Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance (CILG), USA, Nigerian Chapter, is seeking to partner with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on measures to create safety on Nigerian roads.

The collaboration also includes using the rich resources of the institute to enhance leadership skills and capacity for management and staff of the FRSC.

This was made known by the Country Director of CILG, Dr. Segun Ojarotade, when he led the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the institute on a courtesy visit to the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, in Abuja.

On his part, the Deputy Corps Marshal, AHR Shehu Zaki, who received the delegation on behalf of the Corps Marshal, expressed regrets on the unavoidable absence of the Corps Marshal which he attributed to an urgent assignment in Gombe State.

He assured of the FRSC readiness to partner with the CILG for a better chance to understand CILG and work out how both organizations can work together on a common ground.

He thanked the Country Director and the BOT members for appreciating the Corps Marshal for his leadership achievements thus far, which culminated in his conferment as a Fellow of the institute last year.

The CILG team led by Dr. Ojarotade included Prof. Peter Siyan, Hon. Yinka Olatunbosun, Mr. Aminu IBN and Barr. Lona Owolona, and the Public Relations Officer, Oba Innocent.
