Nigeria’s Anti-Corruption Czar, Ibrahim Magu Attracts International Endorsement

The Global Peace Movement International (GPMI), UK, has pass votes of confident on the Acting Chairman, Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu as well as describing him a fearless crusader in the war against corruption in the Country.

The President General of GPMI, UK, Dr. Mike Uyi in a press statement said that Magu has taken the vigorous campaign against corruption which has reached an endemic stage to levels no one ever ever thought of.

Uyi said that the recent statistic which confirmed the EFCC Boss third (3rd) position in the world anti graft position didn’t come to him as a surprise considering the enormous achievements recorded so far under his leadership.

According to him, the name ‘Magu’ sends chill down the spines of those once believed to be untouchable and above the law as many are currently being investigated for corruption while others have been convicted.

Corruption, Mike said, is a disease that has eaten deeply into the fabric of the Nigerian society as a result, has paralyzed every meaningful growth or development in the country, hence the need to uproot it from the roots.

He further stated that the appointment of Ibrahim Magu as the Acting Chairman of the Commission by President Buhari was the right call to make just as Ibrahim has lived up to his mandate and is waxing even more new strategies to further combat the menace called corruption in Nigeria.

Uyi, also explained that the fight would better be won if every citizen sees it as a collective fight thereby join hands together to accord the Commission every necessary support needed by shunning bribery and corruption and exposing the act and those who engage in it wherever found.

He express optimism that more would be achieved under the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of Ibrahim Magu in the ongoing war against corruption calling on all stakeholders to play their parts to make the dream of a free-corrupt Nigeria a reality.
