SMEDAN trains 100 for NIRSAL facility in Nasarawa

No fewer than a hundred persons are undergoing a five-day training on how best to access NIRSAL loans in Nasarawa state.

This was disclosed to newsmen on Wednesday in Lafia, venue of the training by the state manager, Ahmed Bashir.

He said the essence of the training was to brush up starters and those with existing business but didn’t know how to access NIRSAL loans.

According to him, SMEDAN is a federal government agency that encourages Micro, Small Medium Enterprise to grow in order boost the country Gross Domestic production.

Bashir pointed out that the training was open to all, especially the unemployed youth who are willing to go into business and be self-reliant.

“The participants will be trained for Five day on how to access NIRSAL facility after which it will take them six week before the get notice of what facility they have applied for, while for the starters up, that will be monitored via their business plan to be able to access three million naira in the six weeks from NIRSAL, ” Bashir stated.
