*Publish the names of all entrants into Nigeria in the last one week, Governors’ Mandate tasks FG*

The Federal Government has been asked to publish the names of all persons who arrived Nigeria through our International Airports from high countries with established cases of coronavirus otherwise known as COVID-19.

Earl Osaro Onaiwu who is the Chairman of Governors Mandate Network made the call on Monday urging the government to compel all international airlines to publish the manifest of all their inbound flights in the last one week no matter the calibre of persons involved.

Onaiwu stated that there are growing concerns that there are many more infected persons than currently being detected in Nigeria, saying there is high suspicion of spread via person-to-person contact from people who have been exposed to the virus abroad.

He regretted the situation where majority of returnees are not adhering strictly to self-isolation protocol thereby resulting in the geometric increase of confirmed cases of COVID-19.
