COVID – 19: Senator Sani Musa Donates Palliatives To his senatorial district

More palliative from elected politicians have started arriving in the various senatorial district across Niger state with the commitment to assist in ameliorating the sufferings faced by their people due to the corona virus.

The Niger East senator whose Senatorial District covered about seven local government area Alhaji Mohammed Sani Musa donated items to his people ranging from hospital consumables like protective wears, N-95 masks, safety face masks among other things whose distribution will soon commence.

These donation are ìn additions to an earlier palliative of food items were 900 bags of rice was made available to the people of his senatorial district so as to make them comfortable at home while observing the directive by the government to stay safe by remaining in their houses.

Sani Musa who double as the Chairman Senate Committee on Senate Services, had told the people of his senatorial district to see the current challenge confronting them as a thing that will come to pass.

He assured the people of his continuous support at all time, stressing that this is not time to be despair, but to keep faith alive as there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and that all the challenges would soon be a thing of the past.

He also said “The times are hard. They The world peace and the existence of humankind have never been threatened like now. But, nothing should make anyone lose hope. The Coronavirus episode would soon be forgotten, and life would go on again”.

“I want to assure the good people of Niger East that I will continue to support them with everything necessary. In addition to the 900 bags of rice and the hand washing detergents I have donated, I will make available more palliatives for the people such as food packs and grains “, he stressed.

Commending President Muhammadu Buhari and the state Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello , the senator maintained that there effort in curbing the COVID 19 should be highly applauded by Nigerians.

Speaking on the Easter celebration the lawmaker felicite with Christians on the celebration of Easter and ,urged them to imbibe the virtues of love and self-sacrifice exemplified by Jesus Christ, and prayed against the further spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

“I congratulate the entire Christians and indeed all the people of Niger East on this auspicious occasion of Easter. One significant thing to note on this day is the virtue of love and self sacrifice demonstrated by Jesus Christ. I therefore urge our Christian brothers and sisters to imbibe those virtues”.
