Abba Kyari: Gov Ugwuanyi, Okorie, Onyeama. others. commiserates with President Buhari, family, Nigerians

The Enugu State Government has expressed her condolences to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, on the death of his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari.

The state government also condoled with the Abba Kyari family and the Federal Executive Council.

In a statement by the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, the government described the late Kyari as “a dedicated and loyal Chief of Staff, who discharged his duties with great commitment and selflessness”, and beseeched that the Almighty God grants his soul eternal rest.

The Founder and Leader of United Progressives Congress,Chief CHEKWAS Okorie, who is popularly known as One Ozi Ndigbo(Igbo race messenger) in a twitter message he forwarded to THE AUTHORITY stated,

” I am saddened by the unfortunate death of Alhaji Abba Kyari.He will be surely missed for his humility, commitment, intellectualism, loyalty and consciousness.May his Soul rest in peace. His death is a national loss ”

The Minister of Foreign affairs, Mr Geoffrey Anyanwu, who described the late Abba Kyari as a brother irrespective of tribe said his death Is a national loss.

Onyeama partly stated, “Abba believed completely in the Nigerian project and believed completely in President Buhari. During the last five years He gave every second of his life got the success of both His death suffered as a result but it was a sacrifice and investment he was happy to make.

” Nigerians will look back in years to come in years to come and see that he was truly the best man”,Onyeama stated.

Similarly, a faction of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Enugu state loyal to the Foreign affairs minister, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama, described the death of Abba Kyari as a huge loss to the party,stating the late Chief of staff to President Buhari was always in support of ideas and initiatives to front a better Nigeria on the platform of APC.

A press statement sent to THE AUTHORITY Newspaper by the pioneer deputy chairman of the party in Enugu state, Comrade Adolphus Ude,who equally was the 2019 Coordinator of President Buhari re election,lamented that Nigeria and APC as a party will miss late Abba Kyari for his steadfastness and commitment to national building.
