International group commends Buhari, Akpabio over NDDC reforms

An international Organisation with recognition in over 100 countries of the world, Global Peace Movement International based in UK have passed a vote of confident of President Muhammadu Buhari and Senator Godswill Akpabio, Minister of Niger Delta

The President General, Dr. Mike Uyi in a video conference at Radisson blue hotel, central London, described Akpabio’s appointment as obviously a divine call and ordained political journey.

Dr. Uyi also noted that Akpabio who has attained the zenith of politics is the best man for the job.

The group pledged their allegiance to Buhari, Akpabio, describing him as a transparent leader whose quest to stop corruption had brought him undue criticism.

“As a man from the Niger delta region one will easily think ,Akpabio will compromise but he has stood his ground against the enemy of the region and insisted corruption in NDDC must ends”.

Uyi said NDDC for 19 years has been marred with corruption cases right and left ,prominent among the list is the N183bn scam uncovered in 2015 by the Office of Auditor General .

“Another is project abandonment of N3tn liabilities to its contractors. And so many form of corrupt practice the minister, Godswill Akpabio has vowed to uncover and put and end to it”.

This according to him, has given rise to many sponsored campaign of lies against him as many persons who have been a part of the system for this 19 years sees the honourable minister as a threat and must do everything possible to have him remove from super heading the commission.

“If today Akpabio gets recommendation from a region that has been practically occupied by the opposition party for over 20 years and a party he was once a prominent member then it would have been a news and a call for concern”.

“But as of man of conscience after getting tired of the corrupt system ,decided to join hand the the federal government to fight the corruption that has left his region under develop then you should expect many to come for his head”.

Uyi further stated that the minister is not just disturbed or distracted at all as he has vowed to continue his transparent policies that keeps on exposing the evil practices embedded in NDDC .

“NDDC is no longer the ATM it use to be for God father’s and the powers to play in the region ,the dividends is now visible for all to see”, he said.
