Crowd 1 not a Ponzi scheme, says Nigerian MD speaks

From Francis Nansak, Lafia

The Managing Director, Nigeria Crowd 1, Mr Simon Ater, has declared that unlike the ponzi scheme, pyramid and others, Crowd 1 is a service provider, that benefited from already made products of other establishments via a digital networking marketing.

He made the clarification in an exclusive interview with a select group of journalists in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa state, over the weekend.

Simon explained that Crowd 1 is not into production, but is a platform created to market products of some organisations, which is more of an advertising agent where business transactions are connected digitally.

He cited instances with the Facebook company, which according to him is just a software for communication, but the owner Mark Zukgerberg is making millions of dollars from it, via the network of people that are on Facebook.

“So it is with crowd 1, we should not be mistaken for a gambling company, we are not into products manufacturing, but for the fact that we have the networking connective via our platform and the substantial number of crowd of about 1.5 million worldwide who have gathered under our network, company like Afilgo and some major multi billion dollars investments in Dubai, Europe and Asian countries, use Crowd 1 to market their products.

“Basically Crowd1 offers services to those companies, who are aware that millions of people are connected to our network, it help them market their products, this is how Crowd1 makes the kind of monies that the Crowd1 family talk about”, Simon explained.

According to him, he formally launched Crowd1 last year and over one million Nigerian citizens have secured registration on the platform and are doing well, saying the possibility of hitting two million before the end of the year 2020 is in sight.

The MD further posited that since the introduction of Crowd1 in the country, a lot of people have benefited and are establishing a strong financial based for the future, apart from those who have built houses, it has helped reduced unemployment rate, as well as crime, which were singularly for reasons of redundancy and poor family background.

He revealed that in no distance time, the cooperate headquarter of Crowd1 will be open in Lagos, to offer cooperate social responsibility as well as add value to the country’s economic development.
