FHA will deliver on its mandate- New MD

The new Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of the Federal Housing Authority, FHA, Senator Gbenga Ashafa has assured Nigerians that his administration would keep the agency afloat of its mandate.

He stated this during his inauguration by the minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashiola in Abuja.

Ashafa promised that key players in the agency would be fully involved in running affairs of the agency.

The Managing Director was inuaguratted along with Hon. Abdulmumuni Jubrin, Executive Director, Business Development and Mr Moris Okpong, Head Finance.

Ashafa thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for founding him and other members worth to run affairs of the agency.

He pledged his commitment to carry both senior and junior staff along, even as he sought for the cooperation from the FHA’s board and all the staff.

“It is in support of this new direction that my colleagues and I hereby pledge our unalloyed support and commitment to the PMB-led administration’s vision of providing affordable and accessible housing for Nigerians.

“As we assume our appointments, we look forward to a harmonious working relationship with the board, management and staff members of the Federal Housing Authority as well as all the relevant stakeholders,’’ Ashafa said.
