Gov Buni flags off construction of roads, drainages in Geidam

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has flagged off the construction of township roads and drainages in Geidam.

Isa Sanusi, his Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media, in a statement, said the projects are parts of the administration’s urban and rural development plans.

When completed, it would enhance movement and promote environmental hygiene.

Buni assured that the government will ensure full supervision of the projects to see that the work meets the standards.
“More projects will be carried out in the areas of water, rural and urban electricity and sanitation”, Sanusi said.

The aide listed completed projects as township roads and concrete drainages in Damagum, Fune LGA, and township roads and concrete drainages in Buni Yadi, Gujba LGA.

Others are township roads and concrete drainages in Malammatari of Damaturu, township roads and concrete drainages in Jajimaji, Karasuwa LGA, and township roads and concrete drainages in Babban gida, Tarmuwa LGA.
