Eid-el-Fitr: Gawuna Felicitates With Muslims, Commends Ganduje

Kano state Deputy Governor, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has congratulated Muslim faithful for the successful completion of the Ramadan prayers, just as he felicitated with Muslims across the globe on the celebration of the Eid-el-Fitr.

He particularly congratulated his boss, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his continous dispensation of democratic dividends to Kano people, maintaining peace and security as well as financial and moral support to Muslims in the state during the Ramadan period.


He also called for peace and unity and urged Kano people to continue to support the administration of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.


 Gawuna, through a Statement by his Chief Press Secretary,     Hassan Musa Fagge, enjoined people of the State to be compassionate in all their dealings with one another as they celebrate the Eid-el-fitr.

The statement further stated that Gawuna, “felicitates with our amiable Governor Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and all muslim faithfuls on the completion of the Ramadan fast, one of the five pillars of Islam.


“I implore all muslims to remain steadfast in applying the virtues of Ramadan therefore it is my hope and prayer the the Holy months lessons and Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) teachings of piety,fairness,honesty,peaceful co-existence,tolerance and dedication to duty will remain with us all Gawuna said.”


The Deputy Governor also urged them to continue to offer prayers for lasting peace in the State and the nation in general as well as comply  with precautionary measures that would help flatten the curve of the deadly Corona Virus.


“While wishing all the Muslims across Kano State a happy Eid-el-fitr celebration, the Deputy Governor also commended the entire people of the State for their unflinching support and cooperation to the administration of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje as it continue to render selfless leadership through laudable policies and programmes aimed towards building a prosperous and peaceful Kano State.


“This Support is highly and greatly appreciated. Barka Da Sallah,” the statement stated.
