Eid-el-Fitr: Kano CAN Chair Felicitates With Muslims, Prays For Peace And Security

The chairman of  Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kano state chapter,  Rev.  Adeolu Samuel Adeyemo has joined eminent Nigerians to congratulate Muslim faithful in the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr,  praying for peace, unity and stability in the country.
In his Sallah  message, the CAN chairman said, “as we mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitr, we should have hope in God and not give up on issues facing the  nation. We shall surely overcome and passover this phase in the life and history of our nation. 

“Our dear Muslim Umma, it is our sincere prayers that God will rescue all those in the kidnappers den and  the shedding innocent  blood will come to an end in across all the states in Nigeria and protect Nigeria as a nation.”

He further stated that, “at such a time as this, we remember our fallen heroes, men and women of the military, Police and civilian JTF who died defending the citizens from the wickedness of evil terrorist groups. 
“May God comfort the hearts and mind of their widows and parents with his peace. May God continue to protect and preserve our dear Kano State from all these evils and continue to bless our Kano State in all ramifications
“It is with Joy on behalf of the entire Christian community, the Christian  Association of Nigeria CAN Kano State Chapter rejoices and congratulates our Muslim brothers and sisters, His Royal Highness the Emir of Kano Alh Aminu Ado Bayero and His Excellency the governor of Kano State DR Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.”

According to him, “It was a time of self denial, sacrifice and to intensify seeking the face of Allah in prayer  on issues bothering on the family and individual needs, peace and security in our dear Kano State, the state of the nation as ravaged with different shades of destructive insecurity by Killer bandits and herdsmen, kidnappers and terrorist  and the need for good governance and much more. I joined faith with the Muslim Umma that Allah has accepted your prayers and shall reward you exceedingly and abundantly with answers to all these request and much more.

“We must not relent in prayers for the peace and security of our nation. Let us continue to live lives that reflect the gains of the Ramadan and let us commit ourselves to Loving our neighbours irrespective of tribe and religion and let all of us be agent of peaceful coexistence and we all be united on all fronts to defeat our common enemies bedevilling states and our Nation.

“We sincerely congratulate our fatherly, technocrat Governor, His Deputy, Our Royal Highness the Emir of Kano and the entire Muslim Umma for being alive to celebrate Year  2021 Sallah.
