Following the switching of political party by the governor of Cross River State, Sen. Ben Ayade, the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has called on it’s members in the state to remain committed to the party.
The party in a statement on Thursday by it’s Spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan while wishing Ayade well in his new party sojourn, tasked them to pull themselves together and maintain the party structures in the state.
“Our party calls on all critical stakeholders and teeming members of our party in Cross Rivers State to immediately pull together and ensure that every structure of our party in the state remains intact.
“The PDP wishes Governor Ayade well in his new political sojourn as well as in his future endeavours”.
Gov. Ayade on Thursday, fulfilled overdue threat of leaving the umbrella for the ruling All Progressives Congress.
