Mikel, Psquare celebrate Chelsea’s Champions League success

Former Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi has congratulated Chelsea on their Champions League win on Saturday night.

The Blues won their second Champions League trophy after beating Manchester City 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Kai Havertz.

Mikel spent 13-years at Chelsea, winning numerous titles, including the club’s first Champions League trophy in 2012.

The Stoke City star sealed his status as a Chelsea legend after he gave a man of the match display against Bayern Munich to help the Blues win their first major European trophy on that emotional night at the Allianz Arena.

Chelsea’s class of 2021 have now replicated the success of the 2012 squad, and Mikel wasted no time in sending his congratulations to the Blues new heroes.

Shortly after the game, former Nigeria captain John Obi Mikel took to social media to celebrate Chelsea beating Manchester City in the Champions League showpiece.

“Well done boys 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💙💙💙 we are the blues 💙”, Mikel wrote on Instagram.

Mikel was not the only Nigerian celebrity to celebrate the Blues win. The Psquare brothers, who are die-hard Chelsea fans, were also seen celebrating passionately after the match.
