Okeke family declared partich, Pa. Dona Okeke missing


The family of Umu Ozochigbo in Umudim village, Eziowa, Mgbagbu-Owa in Ezeagu Local Government Area, has declared their patriarch, Pa Donats Okeke, missing.

According to a statement signed by Mr. Chinedu Okeke, first son of the missing Pa Okeke, he was last seen around Okpu farmlands, boundary between Ebenebe in Anambra state and Mgbagbu-Owa, in the morning of June 18th, 2021, between 10am and 11 am. 


Agee 83 years, Pa Donathus Okeke, alias “Okponku” or “Work and Chop” went out to the streams around the okpu farms where he normally engages in his hobby, fishing with some young men, but has not returned since then.

He stated that “a search part comprising of young and able-bodied young men from our community “combed” the entire okpu forest in search of my father, but up till today, two weeks after the incident, we have not yet seen him.

“The young men who went fishing with him said my father left them at the stream for home around 11am, saying he was hungry as he had not eaten any food before they set out for fishing”.

Chinedu also added that his family has tendered a report at the Aguobu-Owa Police Division, but are still awaiting any feedback from the police.

He called on anyone who has any useful information that could lead then to the whereabouts of their father to please contact him on 08065360936 or contact any police station.
