The Authority gathered that in searching for a partner for a project of this kind, Aare Afe Babalola is the best suited for such given that a man who has steered the Afe Babalola University to this enviable post as one of the Best Private Universities in Nigeria, with a magnificent history of professionalism.

With the investment of the state of the art infrastructure for the Teaching Hospital, the goal of the private doctors will be easily achieved especially with the support of an enigma of Chief Babalola magnitude.

Afe Babalola is a link between the privileged and underprivileged. To the underprivileged, he understands their plight, having started from a humble beginning to where he is, and he serves as the role model that shows the possibilities of breaking limitations with dedication and hard work.

This is captured in his proverbial phrase “I never saw the four walls of the university but I have several university degrees”. This opens the door of possibilities among impossibilities. To the privileged, AAB shows that humility is the key to a good life and that the best way to live life is to provide service to humanity and make life better than we met it.

“”This invitation is a double-barrel invitation; first, it provides the opportunity to recognize the service of a man to humanity which will spur others to service. Secondly, it provides the platform for further service to a renowned public servant and peoples’ person. The partnership with the private doctors project to save one million Nigerian women and children from avoidable deaths is another platform for service, to save lives from avoidable death especially maternal health and reduce the infant mortality rate. This is a core service area to humanity”.

The doctors were at Aare Babalola’s house to invite him to the occasion and seek partnership with him.
