The Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria has been committed in training Nigerians in several areas such as cooking Korean delicacies, making clothes, language class among others .

Recently, the Centre has held both online and offline classes in the month of August 2021.

‘Tasty Korea with KCCN’ was taught by two native Koreans and two Nigerians.

The August cooking class focused on making two popular Korean street foods: Tteokbokki and Kimbap.

First, a YouTube live cooking show was held on August 23rd and during the live class, a form was opened for participants to register for the offline cooking class to be held on August 24th, 2021.

The offline cooking class was restricted to 8 people who were the earliest to register during the online class.

Registration was done on first-come-first-served basis.

The offline class took place on August 24th 2021 during which participants received ingredients required to make Tteokbokki and Kimbap and were guided on how to make the meals.

In a statement by the Korean Cultural Centre Nigeria and made available to The AUTHORITY said the significance of the event was to give Nigerians who love Korean food to have a full taste of the Korean delicacies.

“Korean Cultural Centre in Nigeria will hold cooking classes both online and offline from this month of August till December 2021. The Korean Cultural Centre intends to use this opportunity to bring the taste of Korean dishes closer to those Nigerians who love Korean food.”
