All is now set for the Lagos State University (LASU) 3rd Research Fair which holds today,Tuesday, 7th September, 2021.
With the theme “Creative and innovative solutions to Covid-19 pandemic” the Research Fair will hold at the Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, Main Campus in Ojo.
The Director, Directorate of Research Management and Innovation in a meeting with the members of the Central Planning Committee of the fair, recently was optimistic, the Deputy Governor, Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat would grace the occasion as the Chairman of the day.
Also, Prof. Odusanya at the meeting, disclosed that the keynote speaker, Prof. Akin Osibogun, Department of Community Health and Primary Health Care, University of Lagos College of Medicine, Lagos would be in attendance to deliver a paper.
The Pro- Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, LASU, Sir David Sunmoni will lead other members of the Council to the event
The Acting Vice Chancellor, LASU, Professor Oyedamola Oke is the chief host and he is expected to lead other members of the Management Team to the fair.
While reviewing the activities of the Committee, the Director was optimistic that the fair would be a huge success. He used the occasion to call on members of the university community who had not registered to do so, as the registration was still open. He added that members of the public, too, could still register.
Prof. Odusanya appreciated the members of the planning Committee for their steadfastness and commitment in ensuring the fair was another success come the Tuesday, September 7, 2021 D- Day.
The members of the committee at the meeting gave update on the activities of the sub committees put in place for the event.
