The Gospel, solution for forces of darkness, says VP Osinbajo

Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo declared on Sunday that the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ is the best solution to eliminate the forces of darkness attacking Nigeria.
The Vice President (VP) made the declaration in his goodwill message at the dedication of the re-modernised All Saints Anglican Church, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).


Osinbajo observed that the forces of darkness enveloping the world had become very vehement now and urged churches to intensify the preaching of the gospel.


He described the building of churches as an evidence of Christians’ readiness to honour God pointing out too, that church planting is an evidence of practical Evangelism.
In his sermon, the Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), the Most Rev. Henry Ndukuba praised members of the All Saints’ Church, Wuse under the leadership of Venerable Ernest Onuoha for building the church especially when the country was going through severe economic recession.


Ndukuba assured Nigerians that the future would be bright for people of the country because according to him, God does not abandon his people.


The Primate described worshippers at the All Saints’ Church as people who love God as according to him, “our priorities are seen in the way we deploy our resources” adding that the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion appreciates the labour of members of the All Saints’ Church, Wuse, Abuja.”
