Dr Becky Olubukola, the Group Managing Director and CEO of BSTAN Group, a real estate company, has revealed some of the group’s deliverables in the forthcoming ‘National House Fair 5.0’, organised by BSTAN GROUP, set to take place on October 5 to 9.
Olubukola in a press briefing on Thursday in Abuja said that the house fair will provide an opportunity for Nigerians to become property owners and also let people socialise.
She said that the group will be holding a beauty pageant: “Face of National House Fair”, so as to encourage girls and the winner will be walking away with a brand new car, cash prizes worth millions, courtesy of National House Fair, and a 12-month ambassadorial deal.
She again said that this year’s event also entails a street carnival to be held on October 5 and 6, 2021.
The GMD added that the group has the metro shelter concept across the 36 states of the country to mitigate the migration from rural to urban areas, create urbanisation in those rural environments and many more.
She said, “The National House Fair (NHF) 5.0 is going to be a historic event that promotes economic and social development via sustainable housing.
“We are all together encouraging our girl child and encouraging families to educate our girls because they are the future of the nation; even God knows that the world cannot be complete without a woman.
“This year we are bringing the face of the National House fair pageant. We are going with over 50 ladies already and we are going to be having a winner to emerge with a brand new car given to her courtesy of the National House Fair, cash prizes in millions given to her and a 12 month ambassadorial deal.
“Beyond this, we have several dignitaries that are coming to the event this year because of the state of the economy that needs serious emergency.“We are at the point in this nation where all hands must be on deck to rebuild, build and sustain our economy that is about to fall.”
She further added, “Beyond that, the National House Fair gave birth to a new program called “the face of the National fair”. Given success and stories of how women have tried both in family, our society and building career at the same time.
“There is almost a collapse in the economy and this requires an emergency, it requires the coming together of everyone and the National House Fair has created a platform for this: we have stakeholders, from the housing and from several industries that are going to be at the year’s house Fair.
“We have several dignitaries from the presidency; the Vice President, senators, Reps members, ministers and several of our DGs to be at our national house Fair, and we have the captains of the housing industries.
She urged everyone to be in attendance as the fair provides a platform for possible solutions which involve the public and private partnership.
“It has become a must that public and private partnership be involved as the government alone cannot do it, therefore everyone of us has become a government in our various sectors and we need to all build this country together, because we have no other country to go to.”
