I am passionate about filmmaking – Candy Brown Mamlouk

Nigeria movie maker and actress, Candy Brown Mamlouk born in the 80s to the Ocholis started her early education from Becky Day Nursery & Primary School Idah, Kogi State then to Federal
government college ugwolawo where she had her secondary school education.

She later proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University where she bags her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

In an interview with her she explained that though she had many challenges in life, it didn’t stopped her from achieving her goals. “I had so many limitations around me. But I knew deep down
inside me that I wasn’t born for to be limited in life. I could feel it in my Soul, I hear God telling me everyday that He has prepared something magical and earth- shaking for me and I should take advantage of it.

“I later realised I had to leave my limitations and environment behind to be able to achieve my dreams. Suddenly I moved back to Lagos, even though I was born in Lagos and had to move to my hometown. So yes… I moved back to Lagos and succeeded. This had a tremendous impact on my mental health, for positive results and determination to
work.

“I have been able to work with some reputable personalities and professionals in the industry. I must tell you, the process has been awesome, though it has its ups and downs but
well, all businesses do have their difficult sides, the most important thing is learning how to go through challenges and come out successful, at least to a certain level that appeals to the general public.

“I still have my big plans and hopes that all my dreams and Ideas are brought to fruition through the wonderful stories I have to share with the world at Large.
I will ensure that by the God’s grace, history shall be made.

“As many will say, a good and delicious meal needs skills and Knowledge to prepare it. Filmmaking is a passion for me and it is something that I have wanted to come in and make a change.
I am in the process of enhancing my creativity in the movie world and working towards the a path that concerns the seven stages of film production which are, development,pre-production, production, principal photography, wrap, post-production, distribution and
marketing, “she concluded.
