Why security agencies should collaborate – Nat. Park Board Chair

By Chuks Oyema-Aziken

To strengthen the fight against all forms of criminality, Chairman Governing Board of the National Park Service, Hon. Ben Nwobasi has called for strong collaboration between the service and security agencies to prevent bandits from taking over the national parks in the country.

He stated this after the board meeting on the 23rd of November 2021 at the office of the Conservator General, Dr Ibrahim Musa Goni, in Abuja.

Recall that the Conservator-General, Dr. Goni had earlier made similar calls which he said would prevent influx of criminals into the Parks across the country.

The National Parks was represented at the just concluded 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, more commonly referred to as COP26 held at the SEC Centre in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, from 31 October to 13 November 2021.
