A group, Divine Treasurer and Aritse Fellowship has visited a home for the orphaned and the less privileged, Christ Model Caring Mission, (CMCM) Suleja as part of the activities marking her Christian Social Responsibilities (CSR). Several food items like rice, beans, yam, and other consumables were donated for the upkeep of the children of the home.
While making the donation on behalf of the group, a member of the group, Pastor Andrew Ale noted that the fellowship was informed of the track record of Christ Model Caring Mission as a sincere place where orphaned and less privileged children are cared for physically, academically and spiritually.
Pastor Ale who later led some of the delegation on a tour of the facilities at the home, thanked the founder of CMCM, Pastor Ahmed Philemon for the vision and the courage to pursue it for the uplifting of the lives of the less privileged in the society. He promised to report back to the fellowship of the great work that is been done at the home for further assistance. Receiving the donation, Pastor Philemon thanked the entire members of the Divine Treasurer and Aritse Fellowship for selecting his home for such a kind gesture. He said, “I am overwhelmed by your show of love and concern for us at a time like this. Only God can bless and reward you and members of your fellowship”.
Pastor Philemon disclosed that he has over 120 children in the home and all that are of school age are attending school to the glory of God.
Asked how he manages to take care of them considering the financial burden of such a home, Pastor Philemon said he depends on God who always sends good hearted people and groups like the Divine Treasurer and Aritse Fellowship to them. He said he also engages in farming and animal husbandry so as to produce part of what they eat at the home.
