No one joins the military to be killed – Ambassador Mike Uyi
The president General, Global Peace Movement International, UK and ambassador of Nigerian Arm forces said no one joins the army or police to be killed.
Dr. Mike Uyi said this in a statement on Friday in London that it is high time Nigerians come out of their ignorance of attributing death to anyone who joins the Army or Police.
According to Uyi, members of the arm forces are not super human,” They are part and members of our various families. No Nigerian should look or neglect any member of the arm forces, they are our brothers and sisters”
“Our military deserves the support and commendation of all Nigerians”.
He noted that the Nigerian Military had demonstrated professionalism in all areas.
“They have also demonstrated loyalty to the Nigerian flag and commitment to the Nigerian public. It is our duty to appreciate what they are doing”..
“The military had been there for us in the insurgencies and banditry going on in the North-East and some other areas in the country”.
” It should be noted that no one joins the military to be killed but to defend the integrity of the nation as such we must see them as our heroes”.
