The President General, Global Peace Movement International, UK, Dr. Mike Uyi has commended Air Peace Chief Executive Officer, Chief Allen Onyema and his entire management for the amiable manner the face-off between the Kano Emirate Council and the management of Air Peace was handled.
Dr. Uyi in a statement in London on Tuesday said Allen Onyema has continued to make the nation proud by the manner he has handled the crisis between the airline and the Kano emirate.
According to him, Onyema is a man who respects traditional institution and has love for his country.
“It is no longer news how certain individuals in the country had always wished and wanted the country end up in war with the North been instigated against the South”.
“But they were again disappointed as Onyema rose up to the situation as a true Nigerian who in all his life had always preached PEACE”.
“The action of chief Allen Onyema in toeing the part of Peace is indeed applauded”.
“The Emir of Kano is our father and we respect him and the position he occupied in the emirate, GPMI is by this statement warns that there is no rift between Allen Onyema, Air Peace with any member of the emirate and there will never be”.
The group while praising Onyeama , said they were not surprised as they recall similar action when he evacuated Nigerians from South Africa in the past.
GPMI also thanked the Air Peace for the role in evacuating Nigerians from Ukraine.
GPMI calls on other Nigerians to emulate the good example chief Allen Onyema in ensuring peace all the time.
