Xolane Ndhlovu is Africa’s crypto giant

The founder and the chairman of DafriBank Digital LTD, Xolane Ndhlovu is the only African on the crypto rich list. With an R6 Billion fortune, the DafriBank chairman rubs shoulders with a global elite of who’s who of the crypto universe.

The Top 50 Crypto Rich list released in November 2021 ranked Xolane Ndhlovu 40th among other cryptocurrency heavyweights such as Satoshi Nakamoto, credited as the person who first developed Bitcoin, Sam Bankman-Fried, owner of FTX exchange and Alameda Research trading firm, reportedly the richest person in crypto, and Brian Armstrong, chief executive of Coinbase Global, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States, amongst others.

According to the list which drew the ranked personalities from various countries across the globe, while others were mostly developers, software professionals and founders of crypto exchanges, Xolane Ndhlovu, a South African who started life as a disc jockey, has the background of an entrepreneur and a venture capitalist and his first connection to cryptocurrency was the Binance (BNB) coins he bought in 2017.
He, however, subsequently invested and reinvested in fintech and unicorn companies, as well as promoted the legitimacy of bitcoin in various ways culminating in his founding of a digital-only bank, DafriBank Digital Ltd and cryptocurrency exchange, DafriXchange under his fast-expanding conglomerate, the DafriGroup.

While his DafriBank Digital LTD has become the hub of crossborder payments and other seamless transactions for New Generation digital entrepreneurs on the continent, Xolane Ndhlovu continues to preach, at various forums, the evangelism of cryptocurrency and the inevitability of the digital economy for Africa.
His appearance on the Top 50 Crypto Rich List further cemented his place as Africa’s leading cryptocurrency exponent and also reinforced the faith of millions of young Africans who are beginning to believe in a cryptocurrency future for the continent.
