…Endorse agreement for Ugwuanyi to choose aspirants.

The Traditional institution in Enugu West senatorial district of Enugu state, at the weekend expressed their total support to the various processes adopted by the state governor Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, to ensure peace continues to reign in Enugu state.
The Enugu West traditional rulers Council gave the commendation at their meeting,held at the palace of it’s chairman, Igwe Godwin Madu, the Ezeala 111 of Achi.
The Monarchs also concurred to the agreement reached by the five local government council chairmen with other stakeholders in the district and the PDP aspirants
“That the Governor and leader of PDP Enugu state,Rt Hon Dr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi will choose one candidate from among all the aspirants for each of the positions and that all other aspirants will support the choice”.
The Monarchs further urged Governor Ugwuanyi to sustain the tempo of Peace he enthroned in the state, especially with the commencement of the 2023 electioneering processes and commended him for the much he has done in this direction.
The Enugu West Traditional rulers Council unanimously endorsed Governor Ugwuanyi as a man of peace who in the past seven years used peace as his only weapon to engage his rivalries while his administration enhanced social harmony in every other sector.
The Enugu West traditional rulers cautioned trouble shooters to redress their steps for utmost peace to continue to reign in Enugu state. absolute peace in Enugu state since the past seven years of Governor Ugwuanyi administration.
We, the traditional rulers are looking forward on how this peace will be sustained,most especially as the elections are coming up. We are convinced Governor Ugwuanyi is doing well and we are advising our people to support him and to work with him”
The Chairman of Enugu West traditional rulers council,Igwe Godwin Madu,revealed that enthroning peace in all nooks and cranny of Enugu West senatorial district will be the utmost goal of his administration, stating they are working out a blue print to the effect.
Enugu West senatorial zone comprises of Aninri local government, Awgu,Ezeagu,Oji River and Udi local government areas of Enugu state.
The meeting which was the first of it’s kind under the administration of Igwe Godwin Madu was attended by Igwe Mike Mberedeogu,the traditional ruler of Enugu Inyi community, chairman Oji River LGA Traditional rulers council. Igwe Francis Okafor,the traditional ruler of AguobuOwa community in Ezeagu local govt area,Igwe C.M Nevobasi,the traditional ruler of Agunese Nmaku, chairman Awgu LGA Traditional rulers council.
Others include Igwe Chima Achiekwelu,the traditional ruler of Elugwu na Nkpokolo Achi community, Oji River local government area,Igwe J.A.Ekpulambo of Mgbowo community, Awgu local government area, Igwe Hon Justice Ezeike,the traditional ruler of Imeama Umuabi, chairman Udi LGA Traditional rulers council. Igwe Dr U.A.Alugwu,traditional ruler of Uwani Umuoka,Udi local govt area, Igwe D. Njoku, chairman Aninri LGA Traditional rulers council. Igwe Edwin Onwa,traditional ruler of Agbo Echara,Ndeabo,Aninri Council area of Enugu state, among others.
