The PYO Volunteer Support Network has called on Nigerians who love presidential aspirant Yemi Osinbajo to support and ensure the emergence of the aspirant.
Addressing a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, a Volunteer from the Health Workers for Osinbajo Group, Obinna Ebirim said that health volunteers have rendered numerous services across the 36 states in the spirit of volunteerism. He added that they are inspired by the leadership skills of Mr Osinbajo, hence the zeal put across board in the health sector to ensure he emerges President.
“We are inspired by his leadership skills and we feel that this is the time that we need to come together and see to his emergence.
“We have provided health services to over 50,000 Nigerians in the 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria, we have offered eye treatment including 5,835 eye surgeries, 20,000 eyeglasses to the poor and downtrodden who ordinarily would not be able to afford them,” he said.
Ebirim stated that adequate provisions have been made for the delegates as they arrive Abuja this weekend ahead of the party primary, he therefore assured delegates of excellent healthcare, logistics and other services.
In his words, “We have set up mobile clinics, health posts to provide patient services and also where required, we have ambulances to evacuate patients to the nearest health facilities to receive advance healthcare management.
“We want to assure delegates who are coming into Abuja that the PYO campaign is ready to ensure they are taken care of.
“We are also calling on Nigerians out there who are passionate about Yemi Osinbajo to come up and volunteer to ensure the emergence of PYO.”
Also speaking, the Lead Volunteer of the PYO Volunteers Support Network, Stephanie Adams-Douglas said the group is an opportunity for well-meaning Nigerians who love Mr Osinbajo to volunteer and be part of the political process.

“We will continue to provide strategic direction for the PYO support network ecosystem and enable the volunteering across 36 states to be inclusive and sustainable even after the election.
Mr Adebanjo Moyosore, representing the Akokites for Osinbajo advised the ruling party to consider winning the general elections come 2023, hence the need to support Osinbajo as he is the most qualified aspirant.
He said, “we all know this is a critical moment in the firmament of our decision-making process, very critical that our party stakeholders need to access the process, zoom in and of course support our leader.
“Everybody contesting under the APC is qualified but there are distinguishing factors and the apex of it all is the quality of the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
“The party itself should think about winning this general election and the best person to support is Professor Yemi Osinbajo.”
