Kano state Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has mourned the death of Hajiya Nagoda, mother of Aminu Kabir Yasir, Director General, Media and Publicity, Government House, Kano, describing it as a painful loss to all.
A Statement by Ganduje’s Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Abba Anwar, quoted the Governor saying, “while the information of her death shocked us all, we then surrendered to the Will of Allah that He, Allah, needed His very submissive servant the most.
“She was indeed a very disciplined mother, whose life, was well spent within the family and beyond, as a turning point to many. Her righteous life moulded many, both within and outside the family.
“Her death is a great loss to all of us. Hajiya Aisha Nagoda was a strong pillar, unifierer, a gentle woman of rewarding substance and a mother to all.”
“It is therefore on behalf of the government and people of Kano state, I, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, expressing our heartfelt pain and at the same time praying for Allah’s Forgiveness and Blessings to the gentle soul of the deceased.
“May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. May Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala reward her good deeds with Jannatul Fiddaus.”
