Mr. Jiang Xuan, was the Bureau Chief
of People’s Daily, the largest and most influential newspaper in China who represented his paper in Nigeria.
Xuan , an Erudite, eloquent , humorous and a master tactician was very vibrant carrying out his duty while in Nigeria.
He was committed to development of journalism and the growth of Africa particularly Nigeria.
The efforts was in recognition of the growing relationship between African countries and China especially Nigeria.
He was many things to many people. Above all he was effective in getting things done in a right way especially in ensuring prompt information flow when sourced by reporters from Nigeria .
He proactively carried the media organizations along especially on issues involving China’s efforts in assisting countries to overcome the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Many journalists enjoyed his style of leadership and magnanimity.
He is a handsome looking man from the sole of his feet to the crown of his head.
He served covering the activities of the Chinese Embassy under the present Chinese Ambassador CUI Jianchun , the former Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Zhou Pingjian , Charge D’ Affaires of the embassy of China , MR. ZHAO YONG and Mr Li Xuda, Director, China Cultural Centre, Abuja to mention but a few.
