IGP Commends Superintendent Daniel For Rejecting $200, 000 Bribe In Kano

The Inspector General of Police, Alkali Baba Usman has specially commended Superintendent of Police, Daniel I. Amah for uncommon show of patriotism and refusal to receive a bribe in monetary form amounting to $200, 000.

Daniel received the commendation certificate in Kano when the Kano state police acting Commissioner of Police, DCP Abubakar Zubairu, in-charge of Finance and Administration, presented it to him on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, during a brief ceremony held at the Police officer’s Mess, Kano.

According to the Police boss, SP Daniel I. Amah was celebrated for, “maintaining outstanding excellent work ethics, uncommon focus and dedication to duty, and exhibiting sound professionalism leading to the arrest and prosecution of one Ali Zaki and some Police Officers in a case of an armed robbery involving the sum of three hundred and twenty million, five hundred thousand naira only (N320,500,000:00) as well rejecting the sum of two hundred thousand United State Dollars ($200,000:00) offered to him as a bribe.”

Meanwhile, Kano State Government in Collaboration with Kano Citizens Forum has organized Send Forth Dinner in Honour of Retired CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, fsi.

More so, DCP Abubakar Zubairu,, in his weekly briefing with members of Kano State Police Command’s Management Team, decorated th
38 newly promoted Police Police Officers from the rank of DSP to the rank of SP.

He reminded the officers that to whom much is given, much is expected. He charged the officers to look at themselves as supervisors, and know their subordinates so that they can supervise them very well. He wishes the newly promoted officers long life and prosperity and prays may Almighty Allah bless their new rank.
