Former Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic party, Atiku Abubakar, All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, Labour Party Peter Obi, with other special invitees will on Wednesday, attend the public presentation of biography & Launching of Solomon Lar Leadership Institute.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, by one of the planning committee members, Jonathan Ipaa, said the event which is slated for Wednesday, October 6th, will take place at NAF Conference Centre, Kado in Abuja.
The chairman, planning committee and former Director General, National Orientation Agency (NOA) Dr Mike Omeri, said top dignitaries across the political circle, ex-leaders, General Ibrahim Babangida (retd) Abdulsalami Abubakar, business and family associates have accepted invitation to attend the event.
According to the statement, said that the Lar Foundation along the wife of the late emancipator, Prof. Mary Lar and family associates have arrived Abuja to conclude arrangements for the programme which is also expected to attract both serving and former Governors, Ministers and leaders of thoughts and political associates.
Late Solomon Lar was a Nigerian politician who had held various offices at the National level for over 50 years.
He was a member of the first national parliament when Nigeria gained independence in 1960. Lar was the founding chairman of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP).
