NEAPS award: CUSTECH VC, Community Congratulates Gov. Bello over Security Management Award Conferred On Him

The Vice Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku has joined millions of Nigerians to congratulate His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello for the Distinguished Award for Security Management conferred on him by President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to Balogun Omeiza David, Head, Public Relations Unit of CUSTCH, the award was during the Nigeria Excellence Award in Public Service (NEAPS), an event which took place on Friday 21st October, 2022 in Abuja.

Recall that since assumption of office on 27th January, 2016, Alh. Yahaya Bello has been widely commended for his onslaught against criminals in Kogi State, a feat which has made the state to be adjudged the safest in the country.

Speaking from his office at CUSTECH, Osara, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku said, “Your Excellency Sir, The honour and award bestowed upon you by President Muhammadu Buhari last Friday didn’t come as a surprise. In fact, it is common knowledge in the entire nation that the award was late in coming as you were patently overdue for the honour.” In addition, he said,

“The entire CUSTECH Community joins millions of Your Excellency’s well-wishers and admirers in celebrating the national recognition and reward for the well-engineered security strategies and framework in Kogi State. Ours is now is a model for benchmarking security arrangements in other states. CUSTECH will continue to identify with Your Excellency as a pacesetter in all the ramifications of governance.”

Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku capped his congratulatory message to His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello with words of prayers saying, “May Allah (SWT) protect and preserve Your Excellency in the course of promoting the welfare of Kogi citizens, in particular and the nation, at large.”
