Thousands of people from all nooks and cranies have stormed Gusau, th e capital of Zamfara state to participate in the jubilation following court’s nod to Dauda Lawan to be the legitimate gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
The long awaited case on whether or not the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and it’s candidates in Zamfara have right to participate as a legitimate party was decided that Dauda is a legitimate candidate of the party as a person.
Shortly after the official announcement of the court in sokoto and which went dawn well to the entire people of Zamfara, the people men and women as well as small or rather under aged ones could not hide their admiration.
And in the jubilation one could not differentiate between those of APC, APGA of PDP itself as majority of those who pretended to be supporters of the ruling APC before the judgment were also in the midst of those who were already in the party, PDP.
With these development therefore the ruling APC and it’s members have become demoralized and some of them have even taken to their heels to avoid being seeing in the state, even even as the governor of the state was said to have left to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
The court judgment of today have become the most and serious setback to the ruling APC and it’s allies in the state as according to their earlier behave before now was that PDP will not be allowed to take part in the 2023 election and therefore it will win the election without any opposition.
