Gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has reassured citizens of the State that if given the mandate come March 11th, his administration will restore peace and prosperity in the State.
He equally said his administration will also provide competent leadership that will pave way for “justice and equity” to all, and will run an all inclusive government.
Mutfwang stated this during town hall meetings in Quaan Pan and Mikang Local Government Areas in the State Southern Senatorial zone.
He promised to provide purposeful leadership that would restore the dignity of Plateau citizens and pledged to secure the State by reviving the state own security outfit, Operation Rainbow.
The governorship candidate said deliberate steps would be taken to empower rural communities, local vigilantes and hunters, to complement the effort of conventional security agencies in the state.
He noted that youths, women, and people living with disabilities will occupy a strategic place in his administration if elected into office to fix the state’s economy.
On skills acquisition and improvement, Mutfwang, said his administration shall revive institutions like the School of Relevant Technology to help with that process, along with making mechanized farming profitable and attractive to the demography, when elected.
Earlier while on a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, Nda Emmanuel Dabang, the Long Pan of Pan Chiefdom, and President Qu’aan Pan Traditional Council, and the Long Kwo of Kwo Chiefdom, His Royal Highness Miskoom Fidelis Longtoe Attahiru offered him royal blessings.
He was also at the palace of Long Tehl, His Royal Highness, Donald Puntel in Mikang where he also received royal blessings and promised to work with traditional rulers to enthrone peace and harmony in the state.
