The Federal Law maker representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji River federal constituency in the National Assembly,Hon Stanislaus Chijioke Okereke, will hold his maiden town hall meeting with his constituents on Saturday,July 15.
Hon.Okereke said the Town Hall meeting(Virtual) with theme,”Forstering Community Connections,Open Dialogue and Shared Aspiration” is in line with his commitment to interface very often with Greater Awgu people (Aninri,Awgu,Oji River local government areas) as a measure of forstering unity and articulating a common agenda for socio ecomomic development of his constituency.
According to him, engagements with his constituents will also involve interactive sessions and activities during
Physical Town Hall meetings, assuring it will commence as soon as he settles down in office.
His words,”In a few days(July 13) I would be a month old in your office and this interactive session presents an avenue to relate with you. Recall that I made a commitment to unrestrained access to my office and this virtual Town Hall Meeting series will continue running concurrently with our Physical Town Hall Activities which will also kick off soon after we settle down”
Hon Engr Stanislaus Chijioke Okereke is among the seven out of eight Enugu Federal legislators elected on the platform of Labour party,all serving their first tenure.
