The Anambra State Chapter of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, (PFN) has completed training for 500 beneficiaries of its skills’ acquisition programme.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo attended the graduation ceremony and used the occasion to rededicate the Jesus Our Physician Hospital, (JOPH), Amawbia.
The State Chairman of PFN, Bishop Moses Ezedebego assured of sustaining partnership and laudable initiatives of the state government.
The PFN Coordinator for Training, Ethical and Value Reorientation and Skill Acquisition Initiative, Mark Odogwu, said that the PFN project is a replica of Anambra State Government’s “One Youth, Two Skills Initiative”
Gov Charles Soludo at the occasion awarded N50 million to the 500 beneficiaries.
The cash award by the state government gives support to the start-up grant already offered by the programme.
Gov Soludo emphasized that the goal of his administration is to have a state with zero poverty, assuring of greater access to funding from cooperatives.
