Lobi Stars will bounce back after the break -Emma Ujah

Nigeria Professional League side, Makurdi based Lobi Stars’ management under the leadership of the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dominic Iorfa has called on the teaming supporters of the club to remain calm ahead of the last matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL).

Exuding infectious indestructible optimism the former Queens Park Rangers’ goal poacher said the call became necessary following the high expectations on the game against Gombe United, but in which the Benue darling team lost 2- 3.

The loss to Gombe United saw Lobi Stars slipped down on the league table, a situation that is causing the team’s supporters deep concern, while its detractors rejoices.

A statement by Mr. Emmanuel Ujah, Director Media to Lobi Stars in Makurdi on Friday made available to The AUTHORITY said, “the management wishes to state clear that the NPFL title is still open and Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi are in contention and favourite for a slot to represent the country”.

“We are also aware of this huge responsibility, and as such gone back to the drawing board, using the one month break to fine tune the team and get the players ready for the great task ahead”.

The statement called on the teaming supporters of Lobi Stars to continue to pray for the ” Yes Father Boys” until the last game as hope is not yet lost , what happened is a temporary set back, Lobi will bounce back.

Lobi Stars football club which started the league season on top of the log, suffered three straight defeats locating it in the fifth position on the league table.
