Bash Ali thumbs up Wike, says minister gives FCT breathe of fresh air

By Our Reporter

Veteran boxer and undefeated Cruiser Weight belt title holder, Bashiru Ali, popularly known as Bash Ali has scored the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike high for his dedication to uplift the status of Abuja as the capital of Nigeria.

In a chat with members of the press at the weekend, he poured enconmiums on the workaholic former governor of Rivers State who has been known for his delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.

Bash Ali asserted that prior to Wike’s arrival and appointment as the FCT minister, Abuja was ladened with seemingly endemic traffic bottlenecks in the city and environs but within the short period of landing the job, Abuja has become a free highway to the amazement of residents.

He stated that in spite of numerous distractions confronting the minister, he never let them affect his avowed commitment to restore the neglected master plan of Abuja and make it greater than what he met on assumption of office.

He expressed his love for the works and ‘can do’ spirit of Nyesom Wike and his readiness to liase with him to stage the Guinness record fight in Abuja.

Bash Ali who for seventeen years has been struggling to actualize his dream to become the oldest boxer to defend his title has found a source of encouragement in the indefatigable honourable minister to bring glory to Nigeria through the elusive Guinness record fight in Abuja.

He posited that Wike is the best answer to the question of restoring Abuja to the expectations of its founding fathers who wanted a befitting federal capital for Nigeria.

He added that the Guinness record fight has never been staged outside the US hence his determination to break the jinx by insisting that he must defend his title in Nigeria despite being offered mouthwatering inducements to defend the title outside Nigeria and appealed to the minister to come to his aid and share the glory of this world boxing title match that promises to bring clean money to Nigeria through the enormous pay per view income inherent in the global patronage.
