The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Nnaghe Obono Itam (CP) has commended Anambra people for their exemplary conduct in promoting national peace.
The commendation was contained in a press statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the command, Tochukwu Ikenga (SP).
CP Obono Itam particularly singled out the youths for their praise-worthy conduct.
He reiterated the command’s unwavering commitment to enhancing public security and safety.
“In this regard, the police, in collaboration with other security agencies, have re-strategized their security patrols and surveillance operations across the state.
“These measures are aimed at preventing crime and ensuring that law-abiding citizens can carry out their lawful activities without harassment.
CP Obono Itam urged the public to remain vigilant, law-abiding and to report any criminal activities or breaches of public peace to the nearest police station.
